You confirm you have the right to use the text, photos and logos you send us. Where we need extra images, we use licensed or free stock photos.
Our policies, in plain language
No legalese. This is how we work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
Deposit and payment
We ask for a 50% deposit to start, and the balance before your site goes live. Care plans are paid monthly in advance.
When the clock starts
Turnaround begins when we have your deposit and all your content: text, photos, logo and product list. We send you a checklist of what we need on day one, so nothing holds things up. Small sites from 3 working days.
Revisions
Two rounds of changes are included. After that, changes are $25 an hour, and we always tell you the cost before we do them.
You own it
Your domain is registered in your name. You own your content, photos and logo. If you leave, we hand everything over: no lock-in, no hostage fees.
Footer credit
Sites we build carry a small “Website by Wanikwa” link in the footer. If you’d rather not have it, we’ll remove it for a once-off $20.
Care plans
Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice. We’ll help move your site wherever you want, and hand over all the files.
Refunds
If we haven’t started design, we refund your deposit in full. Once design has started, the deposit is non-refundable, and you keep the work done so far.
Third-party costs
Domains, mailboxes and payment-gateway fees are charged at cost, and renew at the provider’s price. We don’t add a markup.
Privacy
This website stores almost nothing about you, and uses no tracking cookies. Our privacy notice explains what it does store, and where things you send us go.
